Through our years of working with people and their dogs, we have discovered that there are nearly as many leather dog collar designs as there are dogs who wear them. Just to let you know the collars and leads have arrived....and they are bloomin FANTASTIC!!! It is so nice to know that we have items that not only look incredible but that are totally unique. We walk the dogs in Virginia Water which is part of the Queen's estate and we will be very proud to be seen there. Now! This leather dog collar is a great variation of our Traditional Flat Buckle Leather Dog Collar. Rather than a single D-ring for both leash snap and dog tags, this leather dog collar as a D-ring on either side of the buckle. To buckle the dog collar, the adjustment end of the leather dog collar must pass through one of the D-rings before being buckled. The tail end is then neatly tucked through the second D-ring, as usual. This leather dog collar is great for tag organization and is wonderful for dogs that pull.

This is the braided leather dog collar that will have you guessing. The trick braid is a mystery since it is a true braid done using a single piece of leather that is closed on both ends. So how do we do it? Ah, we're not telling! You will, however, love the trick braid leather dog collar and all our other trick braided pieces. They are both beautiful and wonderful to hold. The trick braid leather dog collars pictured here are done using three and five thongs, giving that terrific intricate special look. Trick braid leather dog collars are available braided with 1/8", 1/4" or 1/2" thongs and can be done with 3, 5 or 7 thongs. Slide Adjustable Leather Martingale Dog Collar

Our leather martingale dog collars are available with two different adjustment types. This is our original martingale dog collar and adjusts using a slide. Our other leather martingale collar adjusts using a buckle and can be seen Right Here. This original favorite martingale dog collar adjusts very smoothly and permits adjustment in the tiniest increments for a terrific fit. This leather dog collar works very well made from any of our beautiful leathers.
Martingale collars are sometimes referred to as the "no-slip" collar. They are excellent for the training and working of nearly any breed. They are adjustable so you can set the limit for how tight it can become around your dog's neck. The action of this collar is similar to that of a prong training collar, is extremely smooth and provides for a very effective circumferential correction with only minimal effort. If you prefer, the German stainless steel chain pull can be replaced with leather. A quick release can also be added to this collar for a very quick smooth on and off.

Our leather martingale dog collars are available with two different adjustment types. Our original martingale dog collar adjusts using a slide and can be seen Right Here. This version of the adjustable martingale leather dog collar adjusts using a D-bar buckle, featuring a leather keeper to keep the collar tidy. The buckle adjustment allows for this leather dog collar to be made in a wider range of collar widths, both narrower and wider than our original martingale collar.
Martingale collars are sometimes referred to as the "no-slip" collar. They are excellent for the training and working of nearly any breed. They are adjustable so you can set the limit for how tight it can become around your dog's neck. The action of this collar is similar to that of a prong training collar, is extremely smooth and provides for a very effective circumferential correction with only minimal effort. If you prefer, the German stainless steel chain pull can be replaced with leather.
We select the perfect hide from which to carefully cut your leather dog collar, then bevel, round, and burnish all edges and surfaces by hand to silky smoothness. This is our original working leather dog collar designed for strength and comfort. A dependable piece of equipment, it can take nearly anything you and your partner can dish out. This leather dog collar is made of our best premium drum-dyed oiltan latigo in white, black, dark brown or burgundy or in the superb Wicket & Craig harness leather in black, burgundy, russet, or buck brown. The leather dog collar is constructed of two layers of leather that are beveled and burnished to silky smoothness. For the inner layer, you may choose a second layer of the same leather, cushioning genuine New Zealand lamb's wool or soft cool elkskin. Your leather dog collar will be stitched in your choice of thread color securely for strength and durability. Select either our superbly reliable marine grade stainless steel or sand cast solid brass hardware. You and your canine partner will enjoy this beautiful comfortable piece of leather collar craftsmanship for years to come. For the most rigorous and hard-working dogs, we do recommend that the inner layer be a lining of our imported thick fluffy New Zealand lamb's wool. Collar studs are installed in either a single, double, or a triple row, in a density appropriate for the collar width and are guaranteed secure. Flat studs and the larger domed Studs as well as jeweled studs in a rainbow of vivid colors are all available. Hardware is available in stainless steel or solid brass. So, for those of you requesting the pink leather spiked dog collar, here it is and we can make it in a ton of other colors, too! It can be done as a single ply leather spiked dog collar, or if more substantial and even more colors is what you want, then we will double the thickness for you! Collar spikes are installed in one, two, or three rows, a quantity appropriate for the collar's width and are guaranteed secure. Spikes are available in both medium and long lengths and we'll even mix sizes if you want! Buckles and D-rings are our superb solid marine grade stainless steel.

Each lining is carefully secured with the same adhesive and stitching process used in the making of fine leather shoes. It can also provide added protection against trachea or neck muscle damage for working dogs.
