Like the Dogs, We Love Praise, Too!
Thank you for such an exquisitely made harness! Fiona and I have had two training classes using her harness. Two weeks from now Richard (my husband) will be in training with Fiona. We are looking forward to seeing Richard much more secure in walking with Fiona in her harness. You are amazing talented people to have fitted with such perfection a super quality harness for a dog you have never met or seen. What would we do without you? From the bottom of our hearts, thanks for your wonderful work.
Teresa, Richard and Fiona, Rincon, GA
We (Canine Partners of the Rockies) recently placed a dog with a woman with Cerebal Palsy. Her doctor had told her that she would never find a harness that would allow her to walk safely with a service dog. When she visited him with her new dog, which was wearing your combination/dual purpose harness, he completely changed his mind. He was amazed at how
stable the harness was and completely endorsed her use of the dog and harness. Thank you, LDS Leather, for your help to people with disabilities.

This harness is perfect for the handler who has the need and the ability to stand or walk with the help of a support assistance dog but who also benefits from the use of a dog with the proper equipment to pull a cart or wheelchair. This combination assistance dog harness is designed for ambulatory clients who require support, balance and counter-balance assistance as well as with hardware and an offset pulling handle that is suitable for pulling a wheelchair. If you do not require pulling capability, then perhaps the original Support Mobility Assistance Dog Harness is more appropriate for your needs.
The combination harness includes a completely leather covered curved offset handle, available for both the right and the left hand, and all appropriate hardware that permits the dog to pull a wheelchair easily without the need to pull laterally or walk at an angle to the chair (crab-walking). With this combination assistance dog harness, there is no fear of the dog's feet being in danger from the wheels of the wheelchair. Both handles are removable so either the upright support handle or the offset pulling handle or both handles can be used at any given time.
Besides being beautiful, because we understand canine structure, proportion, growth and movement, our custom assistance dog mobility harnesses fit like a quality assistance dog harness should fit. Thanks to our team of craftsmen, veterinarians, orthopedists, engineers and assistance dog handlers and trainers, who all focused on the production of a fine quality assistance dog harness, our assistance dog harness has progressed to become the reliable durable piece of equipment it is today. We extend our heart-felt thanks to all for the help and suggestions they have provided in developing our support mobility assistance dog harness.
In designing this lightweight, effective and durable support assistance dog harness, we have paid close attention to the fact that different assistance dog handlers and trainers have different requirements as well as to the fact that many individuals who handle support, mobility and assistance dogs often have limited dexterity and strength in the hands, wrists and arms. It has also become very clear to us that there is a distinct difference between an "assistance dog harness of the appropriate size" and an "assistance dog harness that fits well and properly".
