They are carefully hand cut from leathers produced by the very best domestic tanneries. Our guide dog harnesses are fully lined and hand stitched for beauty and comfort with craftsmanship that is second to none. Our guide dog harnesses are assembled using only the very best in stainless steel hardware hand forged one piece at a time right here in the USA.
Our American style leather guide dog harness provides all-day comfort for the dog and quick and accurate feedback for the handler. The harness handle stabilizer loops are contoured and streamlined for a sleek look and to aid in movement feedback. The harness handles are padded to taste and completely snugly leather covered and stitched. The girth strap is available with either an under-belly adjustment buckle only or with both an adjustment buckle and quick release.
Your new leather guide dog harness can be built using a variety of Leathers and Colors and there are a number of Harness Options from which to choose. Harnesses are available with either an offset or a straight handle and several handle lengths are available so that the best fit between dog and handler can be achieved. British Style Leather Guide Dog Harness

Our guide dog harnesses are fully lined and hand stitched for beauty and comfort with craftsmanship that is second to none. Our guide dog harnesses are assembled using only the very best in stainless steel hardware hand forged one piece at a time right here in the USA.
Our British style leather guide dog harness provides all-day comfort for the dog and quick and accurate feedback for the handler. The harness handle is attached to points on the backstrap of the harness with shoulder carriage straps providing a continuous line of communication between the points of the dog's shoulders and the handler. The harness handles are padded to taste and completely snugly leather covered and stitched. The girth strap is available with either an under-belly adjustment buckle only or with both an adjustment buckle and quick release.

Guide Dog Harness Handles
General Information About handles
All of our guide dog harness handles are precision bent from 1/4" cold rolled steel for the best and most reliable strength and balance without being too heavy. To facilitate a quick disconnect from the harness when desired, panic snap connectors are carefully welded at just the right angle for proper handle movement. Prior to snugly covering them with leather, all handles are powder coated and treated at high temperatures to prevent deterioration that can be caused by moisture. The grip is padded with the same type of padding as that used in saddle seats and retains its cushion and resiliency for many years. A variety of stock lengths are available but custom lengths are also available upon request. Special order lengths may be associated with a machine shop fee.
