Company Policies, Legal Notices and Disclaimers
The following policies, notices and disclaimers pertain to LDS Leather Company, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "the company", its representatives, assigns and heirs.
Privacy Policy
We pride ourselves in providing a secure business where you can shop. None of your personal information including but not limited to address, telephone number, credit card information or other billing or payment information, will ever be shared, loaned, sold, or otherwise provided to any other company or individual, except as required by law, for any purpose.
Methods of Payment
We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, cashier's checks, money orders and wire transfers. We do not accept personal checks. Purchase orders are handled on an individual basis.
Order Completion
It is important for you to know that we are a small family custom tack and leather shop. For the most part, we work orders in the order they are placed. While our service dog vests, coats, patches and other fabric products as well as our line of motorcycle gear generally ship in just a day or two and service dog harnesses are given priority status due to the nature of the need, you can expect to wait on average from 10-30 days and sometimes longer for most of our hand-crafted leather products. The time it takes to complete each order depends on the project itself as well as the projects that are ahead of yours. Please be patient. We promise to make the products worth your wait. We do ask that, in the interest of giving us as much time as possible to work on projects, please try to refrain from calling for order status. Until your project reaches the top of our shop schedule, the status of your order will remain the same; that is, on the schedule and moving up steadily. You will not be billed for your order until your project is begun. Once billed, most projects ship in just a day or two. We do sincerely thank you for your patience.
Shipping
Occasionally it is not possible to ship to an address other than the credit card billing address of record. We, therefore, reserve the right to ship to the credit card billing address, even if an alternate ship to address has been provided.
Order Accuracy
We are dedicated to making for you exactly what you want within the limits of our design and materials policy and in insuring that all items fit correctly to the measurements you provide. To that end, to insure the accuracy of order details and to assist with any questions that may arise concerning those details, all telephone orders are recorded.

Any items that have been embroidered are not eligible for exchange.
Any item that is used or damaged, is dirty or has animal hair or smells on it will not be eligible for exchange.
Leather Products
None of our leather products is mass manufactured. Instead, each item you order is custom made for you, by hand, at the time of order. While we do not provide refunds for our custom made leather projects, your satisfaction is very important to us. To that end, we will happily repair or replace any item found, at our sole discretion, to be incorrect or defective.
Please note that leather is a naturally occurring material and may have range or game marks that add to the interest and character of the leather. Range and game marks and the repair of these marks by the tanneries that provide both finished and unfinished leather hides are not considered defects.
Please be sure to provide accurate measurements for all items that require measurements as errors in fit that are due to inaccurate measurements may not be able to be adjusted. Adjustments that can be made will be done so at our usual hourly shop fee.
