Search and Rescue Dog Vest

Our all-day comfort search and rescue dog vests are available to fit nearly any dog, from tiny to giant and come in a stunning array of colors. Our search and rescue vest is available both with and without zipper pockets. Our search and rescue dog vest is constructed of professional durable 1000 denier Cordura fabric, adjustable, thick, soft nylon chest and girth straps that both open with easy to grip side release buckles. Our search and rescue dog vest with zipper pockets feature sturdy genuine YKK zippers. High quality reflective alerts for visibility after dark round out our unbeatable search and rescue dog vests. Our beautiful original Search and Rescue Patch will look wonderful on your new dog vest. If you prefer, our full service embroidery facility can provide Custom Embroidery. Search and Rescue dog vests usually ship within one business day. You may need to allow an extra day or two for custom embroidery.
To Measure Your Dog
To help make sure you order the correct size service dog vest, it is best to use a cloth measuring tape. If you do not have a soft tape, you can use a piece of string and then measure the string. Measure your dog's chest right behind the front legs where the chest looks to be the biggest and pull the tape snug.

Our Search and Rescue patch is a beautiful colorful 100% embroidered 3.5" square with slightly rounded corners. The foreground of our Search and Rescue patch depicts a dog silhouette overlying a bright orange search and rescue cross. The background is the continental United States in verdent green with beautiful blue ocean to the east and west. The border and text are also bright orange. Search and Rescue Collar / Lead Rig
This is the most functional, durable, easy-to use search and rescue collar-lead combination we've ever designed. We appreciate the excellent feedback we have received that has helped us perfect this piece of equipment. The single unit construction combined with the most supple yet sturdy leathers and an Italian bronze hardware mechanism second to none will help make your work in the field with your dog even smoother. The collar portion is adjustable to allow for a custom fit and the lock-jaw snap makes it secure yet easy to put on. A flick of a thumb will make the entire rig drop away for quick release. We will cut the lead to any length you desire up to 72 inches. The collar and leash for this rig are 3/4" in width. Available in top grain latigo leather in black, dark brown, burgundy or white. If you prefer the premium Wicket and Craig harness leather, it is available in black, buck brown, burgundy and russet. You can read about these leathers and see color samples On Our Leathers Page. Our dog saddlebags are everything you could want in a dog backpack. Each set of saddlebag backpacks is made of a heavy-duty but lightweight 1000 denier cordura outer shell with a quilted insulated lining throughout to keep your belongings safe and help the saddlebags maintain their wonderful shape. The saddlebag backpacks each have a large insulated zipper compartment that opens fully and is big enough to carry all your gear.
